Help Us Build Smarter, Faster, and More Sustainably

At SwiftWall®, we don’t just estimate projects, we help shape how modern spaces come together. Our modular wall systems are transforming commercial construction and renovations by making it faster, cleaner, and more sustainable to build adaptable spaces.

We’re looking for a construction-savvy Estimator II who knows how to translate architectural plans and customer requirements into clear, accurate estimates and professional proposals. If you’re experienced in commercial construction, thrive on problem-solving, and love working at the intersection of design, sales, and technology, then we want you on our team.

What You’ll Own and Drive

Estimating and Project Scoping

  • Analyze architectural drawings, specs, site photos, and field inputs to develop detailed material takeoffs and cost estimates.
  • Scope complex commercial renovation and construction projects across verticals like healthcare, airports, corporate offices, manufacturing, and education.
  • Provide pricing and configurations for SwiftWall systems and products, including accessories, heights, doors, and specialty components.
  • Produce accurate labor and material estimates with clear, well-organized BOMs and pricing sheets.

Visual Layouts and Configuration Support

  • Translate project requirements into 2D layouts, elevations, renderings, and visual mockups using configuration tools or basic rendering platforms.
  • Support sales with visual representations that help clients understand the system layout and maximize space functionality.

Workflow and Tech-Driven Process Management

  • Manage project estimate tracking through CRM (Salesforce) and internal systems for full visibility and cross-team coordination.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production to align estimates with lead times, manufacturing capacity, and install feasibility.
  • Leverage estimating software, Excel models, and digital tools to streamline and automate recurring tasks.

Proposal and Sales Enablement

  • Generate fast, professional, and complete proposals for sales and customer review.
  • Assist in early budgetary pricing, value engineering recommendations, and final revisions as projects evolve.
  • Partner with sales to help position SwiftWall solutions in a consultative, problem-solving way.
  • Participate in and lead customer and prospect calls and presentations to support sales in articulating system capabilities, design options, and value-engineered solutions.
  • Help guide the conversation using consultative sales techniques during sales interactions by reviewing product features, benefits, and configuration options based on customer needs.

Customer Experience and Cross-Functional Communication

  • Join customer calls and project meetings when needed to clarify estimates, drawings, layouts, and to support sales discussions as a subject matter expert on SwiftWall systems.
  • Assist sales representatives in live or virtual discussions with clients by reinforcing SwiftWall’s differentiators and technical advantages.
  • Proactively identify and communicate gaps in information, risks, or efficiency opportunities.
  • Build strong partnerships with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and install teams to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Support the sales team during key client engagements by providing technical input, configuration guidance, and product recommendations.
  • Collaborate with sales during proposal reviews to ensure messaging aligns with product capabilities and customer needs.
  • Help reinforce SwiftWall’s unique value proposition through product demonstrations, walkthroughs, and solution-based conversations.

Who You Are

  • A proven estimator with 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience—especially in commercial, modular construction, or renovations.
  • Able to read, interpret, and quantify from architectural plans, specs, and site documents.
  • Experienced with takeoff tools (like Bluebeam) and familiar with CAD, Revit, or rendering software.
  • Comfortable supporting projects in high-profile environments like hospitals, airports, and active workspaces where speed, cleanliness, and aesthetics matter.
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple active projects.
  • A team player who’s customer-focused, responsive, and adaptable to changing project scopes and timelines.
  • A clear communicator who can speak with confidence to both internal and external stakeholders.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience with modular or panelized systems, or estimating for wall-related scopes.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and considerations, like ICRA, fire ratings, and STC/acoustic specs.
  • Ability to create simple renderings or annotated layouts to support sales and customer presentations.
  • Past involvement in renovations or phasing plans that require temporary or reusable wall systems.

“Some people like jobs that are steady, routine and low risk. Some people like jobs that are unpredictable, ever-changing and risky. I used to be an engineer in the first category. Now I am an engineer in the second. At SwiftWall, we look for people who can push the boundaries of innovation, thrive in ambiguity, be intrigued by risk and embrace simplicity.”
