SwiftWall is an innovative manufacturer of temporary walls and barriers and is looking for a motivated technician who can assist in all phases of SwiftWall’s production and installation process. This role is essential to helping SwiftWall achieve its growth and production targets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate within all SwiftWall, OSHA, and client safety policies and procedures
  • Create a collaborative, challenging, and innovative company culture
  • Unload, inventory, and organize materials so our shop floor looks better than your bedroom floor
  • Feed our manufacturing by having materials staged and prepared on time
  • Make elegant SwiftWall products using spray adhesives, rollers, and routing machines
  • Precision build doors using chop saws and drills
  • Troubleshoot and repair machinery as needed. Duct tape provided.
  • Package finished products so well that Apple is impressed
  • Load precious cargo onto delivery vehicles
  • Wow customers with swift installs and uninstalls at job sites

 

Required Skills and Capabilities:

  • High school diploma or GED a must. Recent graduates encouraged to apply!
  • Technical and career education at the high school or college level puts you at the front of the line
  • Formal certificate or degree in construction, manufacturing, or related fields from technical college/trade school earns you more money
  • Strong communication skills
  • A willingness to learn new tasks faster than if you were at Harvard
  • Ability to operate, or learn to operate, heavy equipment and machinery
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and ability to earn a chauffeur’s license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis and 75 lbs on a periodic basis. This is better than a gym.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and not sleep throughout entire shift
  • Ability to travel to job sites on an as-needed basis.
